AFIK, there aren't any PCI WiFi cards in the world. The one that go
into PCI slots are just PCMCIA-to-PCI bridges. There are also USB
adapters well that work with linux. I have heard ok thing about the
Linksys ones.

FWIW, I have a Linksys BEFW11S4 version 1 at home, and it works
flawlessly with AirPort, I do have to reboot it about once a week as the
prolific port scans seem to mess with it, but the latest firmware
upgrades have improved upon that a bit. It is a Web Interface, however,
I use it with IE on MacOSX, Win98 and mozilla 0.98, 1.0 and 1.1 and it
works quite well. My only major gripe about it is the WAN port is
10MBit/sec only, while my cable modem will do up 100Mbit/sec which is a
quite noticable difference (you wouldn't think it, but it is)

The unit is about $200 bucks, but the WAP11 (the AP-only version) is
about $100.
