This is all happening on the PC so far. It now waits for the X11 machine =
(the=20
Linux box) to talk to it.

Try that. The menu should be on the GDM login program, too, though. If yo=
u=20
don't have that and the dog is still there, then the old TerraSoft progra=
m is=20
still running ...
