YDL 2.3 & SMP on a 8500

Tried the newbie list first but no response.  Maybe the more seasoned YD
people have seen this.  : )


I've got a PM8500 with a dual 604e/200 that I'm trying to enable.

I've rpm'd the smp kernel 2.4.19asmp and pointed BootX to use that kernel,
I've tried compiling from the source tarball 2.4.19 enabling SMP and
/dev/rtc in that kernel config but both setups show in dmesg "entering SMP
mode, processor 1 stuck"

I know both procs work as I've run RC5 in Mac OS 9 and I see two crunchers.
System Profiler sees two processors.

The cpu card has an Apple and Daystar stencil in the PCB and a Techworks
sticker on it.  Is this particular card just not supported?  Is there any
other step to enabling SMP that I'm missing?
