power button to shutdown G4 in Yellowdog 3.0

Could anybody tell me please is there a way to shutdown properly in
Yellowdog Linux 3.0 with power button on my G4?
On PC it's either done with powerswitch.o module or acpid which gets
button events, but I could not find anything about how to do that in
Linux PPC.
