_Linux Journal_ is one of the best magazines available. Having said
that I mostly have read it at libraries (such as work libraries) and
bought occasional copies. The one I have bought most often is _Linux
Format_ a UK based magazine that has good articles and one real
advantage: it comes either in a CD version (2 CD's at present) or a
DVD version. With limited internet access from home (a dial up
connection) and restrictions on personal downloads at work it is a
useful way of obtaining some updates.

Since PPC linux (and YDL as a subset) is a small fraction of the Linux
world the amount of information in magazines that is directed at YDL
(or PPC) is limited. There are reviews on releases: I have seen
reviews of YDL 2.0 and 2.3 at least and general articles. _Linux
Format_ had a useful general PPC linux article in mid 2002. Having
said that most general information is applicable and since YDL is
based on Red Hat you can usually use Red Hat specific information.
