I do have gimp and the gimp libraries installed, that may be a
difference. I read the README's a while back, but I have just been
following the procedure of :

          sh ./configure (I don't have . in the path)
          make
make install (well, sudo make install)

It is good to hear that you have got something to printout. I am not
sure where the complications. The gimp related rpm's I have installed
are:

 rpm -qa | grep gimp
gimp-print-cups-4.2.1-5
gimp-print-utils-4.2.1-5
gimp-1.2.3-9
xsane-gimp-0.84-8
gimp-print-4.2.1-5
gimp-data-extras-1.2.0-6

I would suspect that the gimp-1.2.3-9 may be the one you might need,
it does install a number of libraries in /usr/lib. It sounds like
some steps forward.

Once I had the gimp-print driver queue set and a test page printed I
then tried printing from applications by selecting the queue. I have
had no problems with the limited range of applications I have tried on
this printer (mozilla and the shell).
