YDL 3.0 install and Epson C40UX printer

That is curious.  Can you print a text file from the shell?  If you
have not tried then try a command such as `lp -dprinterqueue filename'
where printerqueue is the name of the queue you created.  For instance
I have no problems with `lp -dlp0 filename' with my Epson C40UX being
pointed to by the lp0 queue.
