No USB printing

Okay, I'm stuck here.

My iBook's USB printer appears to be properly configured. It's set as a local 
printer called "lp," /dev/usb/lp0 and uses the Epson C60 driver.

When I attempt to print something--say from KDE--the print manager appears to 
send the job to the Epson. Beyond this, nothing happens.

Gotta tell you, this is frustrating. I uninstalled YDL a few weeks ago and 
went back to OS X after being unable to do basic stuff like this. Thought I'd 
give it one more shot.
