Hi, Im Mario Gajardo Tassara a ibook 500mhz/384ram/15hd/8 mb ati rage
pro-agp owner, my system have installed yellow dog linux 3.0 and mac os
9.2, and i love YDL, but the only "THING" bad with Yellow Dog Linux 3.0
and ibooks are the lack of support for the vga-out port, and this is a
big deal for me and my beatiful external monitor..and is the only reason
for dont delete my mac os 9 partition. In my endless search for fix this
problem i found a web site with a patch for the ati driver and activate
the vga-out (mirrow mode) on ati rage chips,i installed it, but when go
to the console and my usr/src/linux and try to compile the modules with
%make modules command,every finish with a BIG error 2 message, and a
lots of error in the compiling fase (mostly asm errors),why this
happends and how i could fix this problem ? and finaly, if you are a
ibook Yellow Dog Linux user, fight all together for request the missing
support for the vga-out port... regards and thanks
