Recommended upgrade method

I've been using 2.3 for a little bit now, and I like it a lot.  I've got
experience with 5 different distros for x86, and I think this is better than
all of them.  Now that I see 3.0 is out, I'd like to upgrade.  What method
can I/should I use?  Can I do this with something as simple as apt?  Do I
need to download the iso and burn a CD?  If I need to use the CD, should I
upgrade or do a complete wipe-and-load?
