mplayer installation problems

Hi all.

I'm running YDL 2.3 (3.0 should be on it's way) on my tangerine iBook.

I'm trying to install mplayer - I found the RPM along with the depending
packages except for "libslang-utf8.so.1".

As a result of this, I get the following error, when I try to run mplayer:

Mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libslang-utf8.so.1:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

But I cannot seem to find a ppc rpm with this version of libslang - I can
find the package named slang containing libslang.so.1 (it was already
installed on my system).

Any suggestion (either how to solve this or suggestions for another
mediaplayer, that can play divx movies)
