importing fonts

those don't require any conversion IIRC.

yeah, pardon my bad advice if it's not there in YDL. I was speaking from my 
experiences with converting from OS X to Mandrake.

BTW, I *think* there is a fondu package available for OS X (maybe via fink)... 
so you could do the converting on the mac side too.
