	On Sun, 25 May 2003, Gavin Hemphill and chip, among others,
replied to my rant/wail, making comments doubtless accurate and useful
-- to those who can follow them. I can't. I wrote chiefly because I 
imagined the impressions of a deeply SUBtechnoid user might be of some 
interest to a few of you hotshots. My apologies if they weren't!

	No doubt, if I could, there would be no problem; and in fact
there seems to be only one so far, the failure of the multiple boot -- 
as I reported this morning. I hope and trust there will be a cure for 
that in the next digest I get. (Curing it in RH9 took a *lot* of help 
from another list.)
