YDL and iBook G4

Hello,

I'm considering upgrading to an iBook G4, however, having googles a lot I 
still wonder:

- I still doubt that "upgrading" from a G3 to a G4 (same clock speed) will 
change much (although I understand I'll get Altivec).
- support for the Radeon 9200 still seems a problem (I read about the cvs 
version of Xfree supporting it, but I^m no cvs expert).

I also noticed there were new versions of 3.01 on ydl.net but failed to find 
*any* description of what changed.

Anyone out there could answer any of these questions?
