Yellowdog as desktop OS? (Java and VPN needed)

Java's been my bread and butter for years and my advice would be, unless 
you need the features of 1.4.1, go with the native, stable version, 
which is 1.3.1

Personally, I haven't tested the Java waters on YDL, but I was 
definitely considering 1.3.1 since I'm not too sure I wanna deal with 
the 604 processor hack.
