Looking for Mac powerbook 3400 users

I avoid sleeping my laptops in General - never worked for me. With regards
to the sound try the following steps: (btw: I got these from the YellowDog
Lists)

1) After bootup go to a command line.
2) type in: modprobe dmasound_pmac
3) in the GUI go to your ControlCenter and then "Sound & Multimedia"
4) Go to "Sound System" in the "Sound & Multimedia" section.
5) On the Sound I/O tab set "Sound I/O method" to "Autodetect"
6) Back on the "aRTS" tab click "Test Sound"

Assuming that these steps are successful (and they are on my PB3400) you
need to make this change permanent by placing the command listed in step #2
to the end of the following file:

/etc/rc.d/rc2.d/S99local

Hope it works!

Los
