SpamAssassin, BerekeleyDB and YDL 2.3

Has anyone had any luck SpamAssassin on YDL 2.3 (I can't upgrade to 
3.0 for the time being)?

I can't seem to get the BerkeleyDB module installed without some 
tests failing, and that seems to break the Bayesian spam filtering.

Any ideas?
