First experiments with YDL 4 on a PowerBook

I've installed YDL 4.0 beta on my PB 1Ghz 12". Good news is it was a rather
smooth install (with the exception of on package that caused errors, I'm
re-downloading the second CD to see if this was a download problem).

The bad news are:
- this is a typical Red Hat install: be prepared to have a lot of work if you
don't want to run Gnome (@#!)
- for the same reason, I suppose, you can't shutdown from KDE without first
going to the GDM login screen
- none of the special keys work (you can't set the screen brightness, you
can't control the sound volume and of course you can't suspend

I understand Yellow Dog is not responsible for the later, but this reduces the
battery life.
