Well, I too had perhaps expected too much, so I too feel disappointed. But 
this is true as well for all the "new" distributions: kernel 2.6.x (what does 
it bring?), new versions of the GUIs, little more.

The good thing is that, while my Linux installation anyway was new, I've 
decided to give Gentoo a try. But as long as some technical informations are 
not available, no one can make our Macs work perfectly. Blame Apple, blame 
Nvidia, but don't blame Yellow Dog.
