Best 2.6 kernel for OldWorld PowerMac?

http://www.kernel.org/  is the best source for kernels, and hints,
help, etc...  The only problem I've found to compiling kernels on old
world macs is moving it from the Linux side to the Mac OS side.  Oh,
if you don't have a zip drive or floppy, good luck!
