mounting a digital camera

The most extensive interface to cameras is 'gphoto2' from www.gphoto.org. The 
program is a command line program. For the command-line-challenged you can 
get:
flphoto
which provides a decent GUI for 'gphoto2.'

You may find the program(s) available straight from your CD's or yum. 
Otherwise you may have to compile from source.

Even though I didn't find your camera listed at www.gphoto.org, Olympus has 
really good support since they don't try to be standard (USB mass storage) in 
connecting.
