Does anyone have a kernel & X config they'll share for this sort of
setup? I installed using "install-safe" from 3.0 disks, and installed
all available updates, rebooted into the latest kernel (2.4.20-8d). Have
never had anything but console with this setup. I don't mind building a
new kernel, either (I have Gentoo running happily on a G3 clamshell
iBook). I just want to get this working.
When I startx, I get:
