There are well tested source packages (and even ppc binaries I think, which
will probably work on YDL4 as-is) in the current Fedora Core Development
tree.

I've "back-packaged" ;-) thunderbird 0.8.0 for YDL3, let me know if it
works. I'm currently rebuilding firefox 0.10.1 in the same way, so expect
it to appear soon too.
