Thanks Dr MacDonald (another good Scottish surname) et al.

I was having problems transferring formatted text between AbiWord and
KWord in MS Word format (the one wouldn't write it, the other wouldn't
read RTF files). My solution in the end was to save it into text, open
it up in OO, format it and save it as MS Word (which was successfully
read by Word 97).

WIll try the updated version. (I'm surprised it never made it into an RPM)
