xine dvd error

hi all, i just installed xine with a few plugins-
dvdnav, and captain css, but i still cannot get dvds
to work on xine..i receive the error "There is no
input plugin available to handle
'root/Desktop/CD%2fDVD-ROM Device'  Maybe MRL syntax
is wrong or file/stream source doesn't exit " .  any
suggestions are greatly appreciated
