Newbie Install Problem

I'm trying to install YDL on a 7600/132 with a 4Gb HD and 192Mb Memory. As 
the install starts, I get a progress bar on "Transferring Packages" for 
about 3mm (2 minutes of whirring) and then I get

"Errors running transaction set! Please correct this manually"

I would if I knew what it meant.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
