Greetings!
I figured that since 2.3 was released that I should get on the ball in
trying to install YDL in one of my computers. I just took delivery on a
Quicksilver DP, and had it configured with two IDE hard drives, and I took
the SCSI card from the B&W and installed the 9 GB drive that originally cam=
e
with it to try and install YDL on that drive.
Now as I understand it, I=B9m supposed to tell YDL where this startup is,
but my first problem is even getting the software to install; I go through
the whole routine, formatting and everything, from the beginning, and after
all the formats (10MB, 256MB and the 2GB partition) and going through all
the installer features =AD both default and custom =AD everytime the installer
reports a fatal error at copying in the bootloader. This took five hours
last Saturday with no success... I ever tried the instructions to load YDL
manually, but apparently the damage is done and it can=B9t find anything.
I=B9m a newbie, and I=B9m mostly in the dark on how to proceed... Anybody
got any ideas?

WCH
