Booting probs on Bondi iMac with YDL 2.1-3

Dear all,
after having successfully installed YDL versions 2.1 to 2.3 (one after =
deleeting the previous, of course) my iMac restarts with a blank white =
screen and does nothing whatsoever. Only resetting the PRAM will wake it =
(him?) up again to boot in OS 9.1 (no X on the hd).
May this have something to do with the video acceleration options during =
the installation process (va=3Dyes; YDL hints at such, but no immediate =
problems other than described above)?

Sorry for asking this supposedly very newbe-ish question, but i didn't =
get any hits using the archive.
Any hints highly appreciated!
