Gimp-print HOWTO

Could someone point me to a HOWTO on getting gimp-print to work with cups on
YDL 2.2?  I am running it with Etsushi Kato's MachKernel-2.4.19-rc3-020722
on a G3 upgraded Powermac 6100.  Have installed cups OK.  Would like to know
where to point apt to in order to install gimp-print.

Thanks for any help anyone could give me.
