After several hours and multiple restarts I finally got ydl to install on m=
y
Beige G3 Mac. I carefully went through all the steps and the install seems
to have gone without a hitch. Unfortunately it seems all to no avail. I
can't boot into Linux. I've tried every combination of settings and option=
s
under BootX. Sometimes on reboot I get about two pages of scrolling text
and then it stops with something about the USB. It names it USB 1 or
something like that. But most of the time I just get a short 15 or 20 line=
s
of text and then it stops with the last word being "exit". I have to do a
forced restart. I guess I'll just hang it up until I upgrade this Fall to =
a
new G4. But thanks, especially to Eric, for the suggestions.
