powerbook g4 color depth

Hello,

  I just installed YDL2.3 on my g4 powerbook and set up the video using the 
XF86Config-4-TiBook7500 file from the yellow dog site.  It works fine, but 
the color depth is very low.  I was just wondering how to increase it.
