CUPS and ethernet LaserWritter

I'm completely confused with the new cups system.
Right now i have a LaserWritter IIg connected to the ethernet port of my
PPC 9500 machine (under ydl 2.3) and i don't now what kind of device URI
i must give to cups in order being able to print.

here is my /etc/hosts :

127.0.0.1       localhost.localdomain   localhost
192.168.0.1     baladeur.st-cheron.idf  toto

output of route -F :

i wonder why route doen't give the same IP (192.0...) than route
(192.0...)

Is there something to be done in the ancient lp mode ?
