YDL 2.3 installation woes

No ideas on this, folks?
I've found one other CD I can't boot from: Apple's Hardware Test CD.
I can boot from the OS 9 installation, OS 9 Software Restore, OS X
Install and Norton System Works CDs. I can't boot from the YDL 2.3
install or Apple's Hardware Test CDs. Does this shed light on any more
possibilities?
Does anyone from Terra Soft Solutions monitor this list? I could
really use some help.
