Hi all,

I'm new to this list so I apologize if this question has been asked =
before.=20

I have a Power Mac at home running a 10/100 ethernet pci nic (I.E. eth0) =
and the built in 10baset ethernet (I.E. eth1) on the power mac. I have =
the (eth1) built in 10baseT ethernet port connected to a hub which then =
connedts to the internet, and the (eth0) pci nic connected to the =
linksys router on my network.=20

the linksys router is assigned an ip addy of 64.81.113.101
eth0 is assigned a private firewalled IP addy of 192.168.1.2
eth1 is assigned a public non firewalled ip addy of 64.81.113.237

I have Samba running on eth0 just fine and it works really well to. my =
problem is that i have apache, webmin, and sftp which I want to run on =
eth1. I have setup apache to listen on the 64.81.113.237 interface. =
However it never responds not even to a request via the ip addy i.e. =
http://64.81.113.237:80/ . ANOTHER Wierd thing is sometimes my linux box =
will respond to http requests (http://mail.ezomo.com - IP: =
64.81.113.101; http://ota.ezomo.com - IP: 64.81.113.101) not hosted or =
assigned to my linux box! Now 64.81.113.101 is assigned to a linksys =
router which is directed to send all web traffic, ns1.ezomo.com dns =
lookups, and pop/smtp server traffic, to a powerbook G3 laptop running =
webstar on IP addy 192.168.1.10

I've double checked the forwarding settings of the router and all is set =
right there. the router and my linux box connect to a 10 base t hub =
which is then connected to my dsl modem.

My question is how do I open up the eth1 card with the ip addy of =
64.81.113.237 so apache, webmin, sftp, etc... will respond to requests =
without disrupting my samba which is bound to eth0?

TIA

GWM
