CD-ROM Driver

What i did was to install 2.3 and then used some instructions posted here 
last month(look in the archives, for the subject upgrading 2.3 to 3.0)
or just search for my e-mail.\

This worked great on a 7300/g3 upgrade, ide controller card, ati xclaim 
128, usb/firewire card. 308mb ram,
