Installing RPMs

Have you tried making sure that you are doing this as root?

Išve finished installing YDL, but didnšt install KDE because I like Gnome
better.  But because of that, I donšt have KPPP installed, so I canšt
configure my modem.  How do I install KPPP without having to completely
reinstall the system?  Which leads into my other question... How do I
install RPMs?  I know I type ŗrpm ­i <name-of-file>˛, but I keep getting an
error about a user and group called "dburcaw" (hmmm...) don't exist.

Please help!
