gtk_theme installation

Hi There:
Since YDL has integrated Gnome and KDE, there must be a way to install
new themes properly for this new environment so that they are selectable
within either the Control panel or other means.  I downloaded something
called xliquid I like to try out; it untarred successfully and I've a
new directory now where do I put it???  It is a a current modern theme
for the new KDE 3.x desktop, so how to install it???
