HELP

[Barbee]

I'm trying to install on my older iBook, New World install, but  the OS 
is stalling on 'install'. It's kicking butt till a certain point, 
'perl' preferences. What am i doing wrong? I've tried everything. Any 
suggestion?
If i partition the drive, it still wont install, so i load OSX and 
re-petitioned the drive and hold the 'c' key but i get the '?" screen 
of death. I don't want OSX or OS 9. I purchased this from the web, so i 
know its ISO.
Basically, i want a clean install with YDLinux, what am i doing wrong?
