Playing audio CDs via XMMS.

I just installed the xmms - cdread plugin and tried to enable the plugin in 
xmms but it wasnt in the list. It was installed into the correct direcory 
with all the other input plugins but jusrt doesnt come up when in xmms. Any 
ideas?
