Real simple: how do I see my cd drive?

In addition to the Snakemeister's helpful tip, you can also do this:
eject cdrom
from a command line. It will umount and eject the disk. Usually, you can
just use "eject" but depending upon your hardware, it might not be the cdrom
that ejects. Give it a try, it usually works.
