Edit your XF86Config. There's probably something wrong with it, like wrong horizontal and vertical refresh rates. If you haven't already created a user account, log in as "root". If you're logged in as another user use "su" to obtain root status. Then: nano -w /etc/X11/XF86Config Hope it helps, the monker
