installing

hi, i am trying to install ydl 4.0 on my mac powerbook g4, i am running mac 
osx and have tryed to boot with the disc in the drive and nothing happens, i 
have bought the copy from www.midnightsolutions.co.uk as i couldnt afford 
the big pack with the manual, it would have cost be a fourtune to ship in to 
the uk.  i would be grateful of any advice as to how to install it,
