How to dual boot with MacOs X and yellowdog ppc

i'm responding to your statement: 

I still use Linux/Unix (Suse 10.2, Ubuntu 6.10 and  
FreeBSD) in emulation environments on my intel iMac.

what specific kind of emulation environments are you referring to? and can you give direction on how others on this list can implement them to do the same if they are seeking an easy way to multiboot rather than simply dual boot with ydl?
