Subject: MOL problem solved, sorta

Apparently MOL just doesn't like something that my main MacOS install
tries to start up. I gave up on that and tried booting from CD and
the problem went away. I then installed a new copy of the OS on a little
scratch partition I had set aside for transferring files between ext2 and
HFS+. That partition boots just fine with MOL.
