Well...I am having the same problem. I thought it was just me :) I tried
to compile MOL using the 2.2.18-4hpmac kernel but I get an error when
starting MOL...something about undefined symbol in mol.o and altivec. So
what now? I have a Beige G3 and didn't compile the AltiVec into the
kernel as I have no use for it.
I also tried comiling it with ben's 2.4.6-pre8 and that turned up worse
than the 2.2.18 kernel.
So yeah, I'd be interested in getting the patch for ben's kernel for MOL
too.
