Should I be able to run mol with a G4 card installed in my Mac? It
originally came with a PowerPC 604. This is an 8500.

If I leave the G3/G4 cache profiler extension in, the Mac OS begins to
start up OK under MOL, but when the cache profiler kicks in, the Mac
OS-under-mol freezes.

If I disable the cache profiler when the machine is originally booted
(under the Mac OS, before switching to Linux with BootX), then when I
run mol full-screen mode, the screen just turns black and I don't get
the Mac OS at all.

If I run mol in a window under X, I get an error message printed
repeatedly to the window. I don't have that handy now but I can tell
you later if you want. I have to kill the mol process to stop the spew
of messages.

I am using mol on a Debian PowerPC running testing (sid). The mol
version is 0.9.61-4 (this is a debian package, the -4 is the revision
that started with mol 0.9.61). I am using Linux Kernel 2.4.14 with the
benh patch applied.

Best,

Mike
